Kallie is a homeschooling mother of three, including one child with dyslexia. After trying every curriculum and teaching method under the sun, she discovered the Barton Reading & Spelling System and quickly understood why it is considered one of the most trusted, evidence-based programs for teaching students with dyslexia to read. It helped her son learn to read and spell in a way that finally made sense to him.

Inspired by her family's experience, Kallie became a Certified Barton Tutor so she could bring this life-changing support to families in her rural community. She holds a Master's degree in Counseling and spent two years teaching in West Africa with the Peace Corps, followed by three years teaching English to children in China.

When she's not teaching, Kallie enjoys traveling, gardening, and exploring the beautiful outdoors of North Florida with her family.
